Working Principle:
1. Feeding: Strips or chunks of compounded rubber are fed into the extruder's hopper.
2. Plasticizing and Conveying: Inside the barrel, a rotating screw conveys the rubber material forward. During this process, due to the shear action of the screw, external heating from the barrel, and internal friction, the rubber gradually softens and plasticizes, becoming a viscous fluid.
3. Compression and Homogenization: The design of the screw compresses the material as it advances, removing entrapped air and homogenizing its temperature and pressure.
4. Extrusion and Shaping: The homogenized, plasticized rubber is forced by the screw through a die attached to the front of the machine, acquiring the die's continuous profile shape.
5. Cooling and Setting: The extruded hot profile immediately enters a cooling tank (water bath or spray system) to solidify and maintain its shape and dimensions.
